All of our Griffons participate in AKC conformation & hunt tests, and Navhda. We routinely train for hunting both personally and with the use of professional gundog trainers. We participate in Nosework & Obedience and look forward to exploring other performance activities. Our priority is always field work. We have been very active with the parent breed club through Judges Education, Rescue and served on the Board in various positions and committees. Our breeding philosophy has been influenced by our work in rescue. Health, temperament, appropriate early socialization, and proper puppy placement are hallmarks of a good breeder.
Our Story
Breeding dogs has been a lifelong dream. Growing up on my grandparents farm in Ohio cultivated my love for all animals. I have always been passionate about purebred dogs and had an interest in preservation breeding. Once my children had grown, I dedicated myself full-time to the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon breed. I love being a student and utilize mentors both within and outside the breed. I particularly enjoy watching the planning and hard work transform into someone's beloved new puppy!

CKC GCH CH Double Barrel's Jazz Age Legend WDJ
Bourbon is owned and loved by Jeannene & Brent Bartolome and co-owned by me. He lives in Canada with his brothers Garmin and Tommy Lee. He is involved in barn hunt, rally, agility, field training and conformation. He has two legs towards his FDJ. He is a beautiful boy that exudes breed type. He has just completed his OFA testing and is standing at stud to approved bitches.

CH Flatbrook's One To Remember
Remi lives in OH and is loved and owned by Doug & Cindy Howe and co-owned with me. He is out of Partagas des Battures and Mica. He just finished his conformation Championship and will be hitting the fields for training. We are very excited about this boy's future!
Goblin
Flatbrook's Legacy D'Byrne Outwest
Goblin owns Joel & Kristy Rollins and is co-owned by me. He shares his family with sisters Cali & Cha Cha. The Rollins have deep ties to Flatbrook and we are so happy to add Goblin to the family. He will be a part of Balcones Sporting Dogs and has a very bright future ahead of him!
